Job summary

North West Hospital and Health Service in Mount Isa seeks a Pharmacist to deliver professional clinical pharmacy and patient-focused services across clinical and dispensary areas.

You will participate in medication reviews, drug information, and collaborative prescribing, with opportunities in quality improvement, staff development, and policy development within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and current registration with Pharmacy Board of Australia.
• Experience in clinical pharmacy settings or hospital pharmacy is preferred.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and deliver patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional clinical pharmacy services across clinical and dispensary areas.
• Contribute to medication reviews, medication histories and therapeutic drug monitoring.
• Support discharge planning, patient counselling and drug information services.
• Engage in collaborative prescribing activities and quality improvement initiatives.
