Job description

Overview

Clinical Operations Manager role at Kids First Children’s Services on the Northern Beaches. The role focuses on leading success by supporting the team to deliver sustainable excellence, creating outstanding experiences for children and families, and guiding the practice forward in line with core values of professionalism, integrity and care.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure clinicians have the space, structure and support they need to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
  • Guide the Customer Service Team to ensure clients, clinicians and the clinic experience success through effective people, services, systems and productivity.
  • Lead either a clinical track (with a small caseload of about 20%) or a non-clinical leadership track, focusing the majority of time (about 80%) on guiding and supporting others, depending on background.

  • Experience leading teams in health, education or community services.

  • Strong listening, collaboration and decision-making skills, with the ability to consider the needs of clients, colleagues and the clinic as a whole.
  • Experience supporting staff through meaningful conversations, regular check-ins and growth opportunities.
  • Clear, confident and respectful communication with families so every parent and child feels supported.
  • Experience overseeing compliance, systems and operational performance.
  • Commitment to the values of Care, Kindness, Compassion and Making a Contribution.
  • Willingness to work from the Northern Beaches or nearby areas; knowledge of the NDIS is advantageous but not required.
