Children's Cancer Institute in Randwick, NSW is seeking a Clinical Operations Administrator to support the Liquid Biopsy program. • Experience with sample handling and tracking.

The Clinical Operations Administrator will work within our Liquid Biopsy program providing essential operational, administrative, and logistical coordination. This role serves as an operational engine between laboratory teams, clinical partner sites, sample processing pipelines, and project stakeholders. A key objective of this position is managing end‑to‑end request intake, workflow tracking, and delivery timelines to ensure all sample processing milestones, clinical reports, and program deliverables are completed accurately and on time, every time. Working within the national ZERO Childhood Cancer framework, the program bridges translational research pipelines and clinical application to deliver actionable insights and improve therapeutic outcomes.

To succeed you will have…

• Strong organisational communication skills to interface effectively between clinical specialists, laboratory scientists, and management teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail with extensive experience managing specimen logs, databases, or sensitive clinical documents.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), clinical trial management systems or other health related database systems would be an advantage. As would prior work within a healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated background in project coordination or workflow management
• Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft suites and project management/workflow tracking platforms (e.g., monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet).
• Sample handling and tracking experience.

Those with direct clinical trial or patient/clinician facing roles will be viewed well. In addition to those with direct clinical trial and pathology reporting experience, we will consider experienced veterinary/ dental nurses and practice managers.
