Formación

• Registered or eligible for registration with the NMBI.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-registration nursing experience, including at least 2 years in the relevant specialty.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support patient admissions and care coordination.
• Manage referrals, admissions, and discharges in line with policies.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patient referrals on-site and via telephone.
• Allocate patients to the most appropriate ward or bed for safe, high-quality care.
• Monitor bed occupancy levels and prepare daily occupancy reports for senior management.
• Deliver patient-centred care aligned with the organisation's mission and strategic objectives.
• Support clinical governance, leadership, and day-to-day management of the service.
• Act as Person-in-Charge in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing, ensuring HIQA standards compliance.
• Assist in operational management of the facility.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
