Job summary
SA Health's Eyre and Far North Local Health Network invites an experienced Registered Nurse or Midwife to lead network operations across a vast region, connecting patients with care close to home.
As Manager Network Operations, you will oversee safe patient movement, support transitions of aged care, and drive system improvements with regional teams across SA. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- Current registration (or eligibility) as a Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum three years post-registration experience in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated leadership or management experience including supervising staff
Responsibilities
- Oversee safe and timely repatriation of consumers from metropolitan to regional hospitals
- Support transition of aged care consumers from acute beds to residential care placements
- Review capacity dashboards and provide real-time operational support
- Coordinate transfers with regional/metro teams and LHN representatives
- Lead complex discharge planning and improve patient flow
