Australian Regional and Remote Community Services Ltd seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager to support Katherine Hostel Aged Care and Rocky Ridge Nursing Home. The role is full-time with housing and a $20,000 first-year bonus. You will lead a small nursing team, ensure person-centered care, and coordinate clinical governance in a remote setting.

Applicants must hold AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and be willing to relocate to Katherine, NT. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
• Appropriate working rights for Australia - Visa sponsorship is NOT available.
• Ability to liaise with a care team and to provide management and leadership to a small team.
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice.
• Ability and willingness to relocate to Katherine, NT
• Demonstrated understanding of resident centred and residential based care services delivery.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team.
• Knowledge of policy review and implementation for clinical governance.
• Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills as well as skills in automated technology.

About The Role

Experience working and living in Katherine, Northern Territory and care for First Nations people.

ARRCS are currently sourcing a qualified and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to support the management within our Katherine facilities, Katherine Hostel Aged Care and Rocky Ridge Nursing Home.

This role has come available on a permanent, full-time basis and attracts a salary of $55.11 - $55.37 / hour gross base (dependent on previous experience) and will see you working full-time hours, 38 per week. In addition, this role includes fully furnished housing including utilities, and a $20,000 bonus for your first 12 months of employment.

This role will see you accountable for the coordination and clinical care of our residents. You will provide leadership and mentoring to our Registered and Enrolled nurses including both directly employed and Locum staff whilst ensuring the facility operates in a high-standard, safe and person-centered care environment.

This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working and supporting aged care in remote locations. You will have a firm yet caring nature and be a hands-on person who is always willing to jump in and support the team when required. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a clinical / leadership role and ideally have prior experience and knowledge of Aged Care.
