Job summary

Thrive Group Australia Pty is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia, in a specialist clinical oversight role for a participant with high-complexity care needs in SIL and community settings.

The role is casual, combining direct clinical governance with hands-on shifts, delivering HIDPA support safely and in line with NDIS Practice Standards, while partnering with families and allied health professionals.

Qualifications

• Must be registered nurse with AHPRA and no conditions
• Experience in community, disability or aged care nursing
• Competency in HIDPA or High Complexity Personal Activities
• Experience with complex medication management
• Competency in enteral and modified texture feeding
• Manual handling and complex transfer experience
• Ability to train staff and sign-off competencies
• Strong clinical documentation skills
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and governance for a participant with complex health and medication needs
• Deliver and document competency training and sign-off for staff across HIDPA tasks
• Develop and maintain HIDPA care and mealtime management plans and nursing documentation per NDIS standards
• Oversee polypharmacy management including reconciliation and records
• Provide clinical direction for manual handling sign-off
• Liaise with allied health, GP, specialists and families as clinical contact
• Support incident escalation, audits and NDIS reporting
• Document contemporaneously in ShiftCare
• Participate in a small number of direct support shifts
