Job summary

NSW Health in Hay is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead and deliver evidence-based nursing education, supporting clinical knowledge and patient safety. The role focuses on developing staff capabilities, mentoring learners and aligning programs with safety standards.

This temporary part-time position offers a pro rata remuneration of approximately $124k–$128k per year plus superannuation and leave loading, with incentives and flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.

• Orient, supervise and mentor staff, students and participants.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate clinical education and professional development.
• Orient, supervise and mentor staff, students and TPP participants.
• Promote clinical leadership and best practice learning culture.
• Contribute to district-wide education, training and policy development.
• Provide unit-based and individual education and skill support.
• Delegate and support staff within scope of practice.
• Maintain contemporary practice and meet CME/CNE requirements.
• Participate in audits and quality activities aligned with safety standards.
