Job summary

Eastern Health in Melbourne is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator based at Box Hill Hospital's Acute Medical Ward to upskill the workforce and deliver best practice nursing care. You will support pre-registration and postgraduate students, supervise learners, coordinate placements with the Student Programs team, and work with the Transition to Practice team and Nurse Manager to meet learning needs.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in medical nursing.
• Education programs experience including supervision of learners (students, graduates).
• Leadership to inspire staff and foster a positive learning culture.
• Organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced interpersonal skills for team functioning.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Leadership/participation in education and research.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Experience in interprofessional education.

Responsibilities

• Upskill the workforce to deliver best practice nursing care.

• Coordinate placement rostering and reporting with Student Programs.
