Job summary

Queensland Health in Far North Queensland invites a Clinical Nurse to join Sub-Acute Care Unit (SACU). You will deliver advanced nursing care to patients in rehabilitation, GEMS, psychogeriatric and dementia care, while enjoying the tropical lifestyle of Cairns.

This role provides leadership to plan, manage and evaluate patient care at an advanced practitioner level and contributes to quality improvement and evidence-based practice within an inclusive, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Provide advanced, effective and efficient clinical care within the rehabilitation, GEMS and psychogeriatric specialty.
• Provide leadership to effectively plan, manage and evaluate patient care activities at an advanced practitioner level.
• Undertake quality improvement and evidence-based practice and participate in a dedicated portfolio.
