Queensland Government's Metro North Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department at Redcliffe Hospital to deliver advanced nursing care across a broad range of conditions, from minor illness to life-threatening emergencies.

You will lead, mentor and educate nursing staff, contribute to quality improvement and service development, and support day-to-day ED operations in a fast-paced acute care environment.

About the roleAs a Clinical Nurse within the Emergency Department at Redcliffe Hospital, you will provide advanced clinical nursing care to consumers presenting with a broad range of conditions, from minor illness and injury through to complex and life-threatening emergencies. You will apply expert clinical knowledge, critical thinking and evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting positive health outcomes in a fast-paced acute care environment.Working as a senior member of the nursing team, you will provide leadership, education and support to registered nurses and other healthcare staff, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and assist with the coordination and day-to-day functioning of the Emergency Department.
