Job summary

Langwarrin Community Aged Care is seeking aClinical Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract to commence mid-November 2026. You will lead a team of clinical professionals and care workers, mentoring staff and ensuring high standards of resident-focused care within a Not-for-Profit aged-care setting.

You will work closely with the Residential Manager and other leaders to coordinate clinical services, funding and accreditation processes, and to foster a collaborative, compassionate culture

Qualifications

• Lead and mentor a team of clinical professionals and care workers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
• Working knowledge of funding and accreditation processes.
• Knowledge of Care Planning and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the clinical and care team in a fast-paced aged care environment.
• Collaborate with Residential Manager, Deputy Residential Manager and wider teams.
• Ensure high standards of resident-focused clinical care and service delivery.
• Provide mentoring and ongoing development for staff.

About The Role

With a passion for resident care and delivering high standards of clinical-focused service, you will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work with our Residential Manager, Deputy Residential Manager and the rest of the care team to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and care workers and act as a passionate mentor to your team.

Skills & Requirements For The Role

• Experienced as a Clinical Manager or within a similar role in a large, aged care environment;
• RN qualification with current AHPRA registration;
• Excellent and up to date clinical knowledge and assessment skills;
• Experience in staff supervision and development;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• A working knowledge of funding and accreditation processes;
• Knowledge of Care Planning.

You will also have close support from Operations, Support Services, Quality, HR, Finance, IT and Funding, within this growing national organisation.
