Job summary

My Guardian is a leading aged and disability care provider delivering compassionate, person-centred services from our Sydney Olympic Park head office. This full-time, on-site role leads clinical governance, staff mentoring, and continuous improvement across our aged care and NDIS portfolios.

The successful candidate will be an AHPRA-registered nurse with senior governance experience, strong communication, and knowledge of NDIS and My Aged Care frameworks.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration.

• Strong knowledge of NDIS and My Aged Care frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, development, and evaluation of clinical and care services across aged care and NDIS portfolios.
• Oversee clinical governance systems, ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards.
• Provide expert clinical leadership, mentoring, and oversight to clinical staff.
• Drive continuous improvement through clinical documentation, incident reporting, risk mitigation, and accreditation readiness.
• Direct operational quality of care including workforce planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, families, partners, and regulators.
• Champion safety, quality, and person-centred care across the organisation.

The role will be full-time, on-site at our Sydney Olympic Park Head Office.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Lead the strategic planning, development, and evaluation of clinical and care services across our aged care and NDIS portfolios.

Oversee clinical governance systems, ensuring strict compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and other regulatory bodies.

Provide expert clinical leadership, mentoring, and oversight to Clinical Coordinators, Nurses, Case Managers, and allied health staff.

Drive continuous improvement by managing clinical documentation, incident reporting, risk mitigation, and accreditation preparedness.

Direct the operational quality of care services, including workforce planning, resource allocation, and budget management.

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, families, community partners, and regulatory stakeholders.

Champion a culture of safety, quality, and person-centred care throughout the organisation.

The successful candidate must have:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Mandatory).

Proven experience in aged care and/or disability services, specifically in a leadership or senior clinical governance role.

Strong, working knowledge of NDIS and My Aged Care frameworks.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams and manage complex client situations.

High-level organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Current NSW Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle (with a willingness to travel within the Sydney metropolitan area).

Postgraduate qualifications in leadership, aged care, or community nursing will be highly regarded.
