Job summary

Novita is seeking a Clinical Lead - Social Work to provide clinical leadership, supervision and specialist expertise while advancing services across the organisation. This 12‑month contract role focuses on growth, improving referral pathways and strengthening outcomes for clients within NDIS and wider community service models.

You will lead Social Workers, maintain a clinical caseload and drive quality improvement while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic client

Qualifications

• Experience leading service improvement, change or project initiatives.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated experience providing clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to Social Workers.
• Strong social work assessment, intervention and case management experience.
• Experience working within the NDIS, disability and community services sectors.

About the Role

As Clinical Lead - Social Work, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision and specialist social work expertise while supporting the growth and development of innovative services across Novita. In this 12-month contract role, you'll help drive key service development initiatives, strengthen referral pathways and contribute to opportunities across both NDIS and broader community service models.

In this role, you will:

Lead and support a team of Social Workers through supervision, mentoring and coaching

Maintain a clinical caseload, delivering evidence-based assessment and intervention services

Drive clinical excellence, quality improvement and best-practice service delivery

Support the development of referral pathways and strategic stakeholder relationships

Contribute to service growth initiatives across NDIS and broader funding models

Partner with multidisciplinary teams to achieve holistic client outcomes

Experience leading service improvement, change or project initiatives

Demonstrated experience providing clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to Social Workers

Strong social work assessment, intervention and case management experience

Experience working within the NDIS, disability and community services sectors

Understanding of funding models and service delivery pathways both within and beyond the NDIS

Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary teams

Education and Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Social Work

Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)

Accredited Social Worker status

Current Australian Driver's Licence

NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
