Job summary

Darling Downs Hospital & Health Service in Toowoomba invites a Clinical Facilitator to strengthen the nursing workforce across the Emergency Department, delivering safe, high-quality care and building confidence through learning opportunities.

You'll coach and mentor nurses and students, support evidence-based practice, and partner with multidisciplinary teams to identify learning needs, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement in patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise with the ability to coach, assess and develop nursing staff.
  • Strong communication, leadership and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Facilitator, you'll help build a confident, capable nursing workforce that delivers safe, high-quality care for patients across the Emergency Department. From supporting clinical learning to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you'll work closely with leaders and frontline teams to make a meaningful difference every day.

Every day, you'll contribute by:
