The Queensland Government invites applications for a Central Equipment Loan Services Coordinator at Mackay Base Hospital. This permanent role oversees the Clinical Equipment Loan Service (CELS), managing the equipment fleet, allocation, distribution, and records to ensure safe, available assets for patient care.

You will supervise CELS staff, work with clinical and operational teams, and contribute to process improvements to enhance service delivery within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.

Qualifications

• Day-to-day coordination of the Clinical Equipment Loan Service (CELS).
• Supervision of CELS staff and maintenance of equipment records.
• Collaboration with clinical, technical and operational stakeholders.
• Monitoring service activity and identifying improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Clinical Equipment Loan Service across Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
• Oversee equipment availability, allocation, distribution, collection and cleaning.
• Ensure equipment is safe, serviceable and available to meet service requirements.
• Maintain accurate loan records and support service improvements.
