Job summary

Mallee District Aboriginal Services in Mildura is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based care models within our health portfolio, aligned to Closing the Gap priorities. You will drive governance, quality improvement and culturally safe delivery.

You will contribute to research aligned to community needs, use regional data and evolving technology to improve care, while mentoring staff and engaging stakeholders to strengthen outcomes

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience, or Aboriginal Health Practitioner with current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 3 years experience within a Primary Healthcare setting.
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current National Police Check
• Current Drivers Licence

• Provide leadership, staff education and stakeholder engagement to strengthen clinical outcomes, support workforce capability and enhance community care.

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for leading the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence based, financially robust models of preventative and/or therapeutic care within the health portfolio, aligned to the Closing the Gap priorities outlined in the MDAS strategic plan.

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for contributing to the development of evidence-based research aligned to emerging community needs, informed by relevant regional population data sources and technological advances designed to improve care.

Key Responsibilities
