Job summary

AnglicareSA is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to provide clinical leadership and education to our care and clinical teams across Grange and Westbourne Park RAC sites. You will mentor staff and ensure delivery of safe, person-centred care in line with contemporary nursing practice.

You will lead care planning, governance and quality improvement, working closely with the Clinical Manager, residents and families to achieve positive outcomes. Strong communication and mentoring are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing is required with current AHPRA RN registration.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Deep understanding of Aged Care Standards and Quality Framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and education to clinical and care teams.
• Support care planning, clinical governance and quality improvement.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care aligned with standards.
• Collaborate with GPs, allied health and families to deliver holistic care.

What you’ll do

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will provide clinical leadership, support, mentoring and education to our clinical and care teams. Your work will help ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care that is safe, responsive and aligned with contemporary nursing practice, aged care standards and AnglicareSA’s values.

This is a hands-on clinical leadership role where your guidance will support Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers to deliver consistent, high-quality care. You will work closely with the Clinical Manager, Manager Residential Services, residents, families and multidisciplinary teams to support care planning, clinical governance, quality improvement and positive resident outcomes.

You will bring sound clinical judgement, strong communication and a genuine commitment to mentoring others — helping create a learning culture where teams feel supported to deliver their best.

As the Clinical Coordinator, you will be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

• Deliver high quality nursing care, including specialised nursing careLead and mentor the clinical and care team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care
• Support clinical governance through comprehensive assessments, care planning, and regular reviews
• Ensure compliance with aged care standards and accreditation through robust quality and risk management
• Educate and upskill staff to build a high-performing, confident clinical team
• Work closely with GPs, allied health providers and families to deliver holistic care
• Prepare accurate documentation and support ongoing service improvement initiatives

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• At least 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse
• Deep understanding of the Aged Care Standards, Quality Framework, and related legislation

We would also love you to have:

• Experience in a senior clinical leadership role, ideally in residential aged care
• Strong mentoring, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, compassionate, and team-focused approach
