AnglicareSA in Elizabeth East is seeking a Customer Service Officer to support the aged care team and deliver high-quality service to customers. The role involves reception, inquiries, admissions packets, and documentation, with a focus on compassionate, community-oriented care.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and quick to learn new software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience interacting with diverse clients.
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional service through building rapport with customers.
  • Ability to empathise with older people, their families and representatives.
  • Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Great multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage competing demands and priorities.
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
  • Work within a team environment in accordance with AnglicareSA values.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a high standard of service delivery and respond to all enquiries (phone, email, in person, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Show care by listening carefully, seeking feedback with an empathetic and patient approach
  • Ensure site administration and reception operates in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Ensure the reception area is well maintained and is a welcoming environment.
  • Ensure effective access to the site, maintaining a key and security log.
  • Maintain up-to-date files and records, including archiving and maintenance of electronic data.
  • Service enquiries for admission and send out relevant documentation as required.
  • Prepare and maintain all resident related packs — Site Tour / Information Pack, Admission Pack and setup of Clinical folders
  • Offer a customer-focused, inclusive, and positive approach.
