Qualifications

• Diploma in Clinical Coding is mandatory.
• Certificate in Advanced Clinical Coding is mandatory.
• Two+ years clinical coding experience in a hospital/healthcare setting preferred; tertiary level desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in education, evaluation and auditing programs.
• Complete Queensland Cancer Registry notifications and EVA error review.
• Code highly complex cases; mentor less experienced Clinical Coders.
• Identify system/process improvements and drive change.
• Utilise strong interpersonal and communication skills.
