Job summary

St Vincent's Health Australia in Fitzroy is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Coach - Orthopaedics for a fixed-term, part-time (0.2 FTE) role. The position focuses on education, mentoring and competency assessments within the orthopaedics nursing team.

You will support diverse learners, deliver targeted clinical education, drive innovation in learning, and collaborate with a high-performing education team. A post-graduate qualification and teaching credential are desirable.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years specialised orthopaedics nursing experience.
• Experience supporting diverse nursing learners (enrolled & registered).
• Post-graduate qualification in orthopaedics nursing preferred or actively pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Support staff and diverse learners from postgraduate students to enrolled and registered nurse graduates.
• Deliver specialised clinical education that transforms practice.
• Champion professionalism and foster collaborative teamwork.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Coach - Orthopaedics, based at our Fitzroy campus.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

This is a fixed term role until October 2027 on a part-time basis (0.2 FTE) at our Fitzroy location. This is your chance to join our education team and continue driving education and training innovation across orthopaedics nursing.

What you’ll be doing

• Support our staff and diverse learners - from postgraduate students to enrolled and registered nurse graduates

What we’re looking for in you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Proven experience supporting diverse nursing learners (enrolled & registered)
• Minimum 3 years specialised experience in orthopaedics nursing
• Passion for education and mentoring excellence
• Innovation mindset and collaborative spirit
• Desirable - Post-graduate qualification in orthopaedics nursing and/or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or actively pursuing)
• Ability to work flexibly
