Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Extensive background in Australian residential aged care.
• Full Australian working rights (note: no visa sponsorship).
• Experience in clinical management or senior CCC roles in aged care.
• Solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead day-to-day clinical operations within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC, and documentation guidelines.
• Lead, mentor, and support a multi-disciplinary clinical team (RNs, ENs, care staff).
• Coordinate complex care planning, medication management and incident response.
• Act as key contact for residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals.
• Conduct audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

We are seeking an experienced and leadership-driven Clinical Care Manager to oversee clinical governance and quality care delivery at our residential aged care facility in Toowoomba, QLD. This is a permanent, full-time position offering set Monday-to-Friday hours, allowing you to maintain an excellent work-life balance while driving high-standard clinical outcomes for our residents. Experienced Clinical Care Coordinators (CCCs) with strong clinical management experience looking to step up into a managerial capacity are strongly encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the day-to-day clinical operations within the facility.
• Ensure full compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC assessments, and clinical documentation guidelines.
• Lead, mentor, and support a multi-disciplinary clinical team including RNs, ENs, and Care Staff.
• Coordinate complex care planning, medication management, and incident response.
• Act as the key contact point for residents, families, GPs, and allied health professionals.
• Conduct regular audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Essential Criteria (Must Have)

• AHPRA Registration: Current, unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Aged Care Expertise: Extensive background and proven track record in Australian residential aged care.
• Work Rights: Full, unrestricted Australian working rights Note: No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
• Clinical Leadership: Demonstrated experience in clinical management OR senior Clinical Care Coordinator (CCC) roles in aged care.
• Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, and clinical governance framework.
