Job summary

Respect is seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator for Riverside Gardens in Nambucca Heads, NSW. Located on the NSW Mid North Coast, this full-time role focuses on delivering person-centred care and mentoring the nursing team.

You will coordinate admissions, develop care plans, supervise staff, and ensure compliant documentation and infection control, while building strong partnerships with residents, families and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing is required
• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience in residential aged care
• Experience in a clinical care role is highly regarded
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong documentation and evidence-based practice skills

Responsibilities

No two days are the same! As Clinical Care Coordinator you will:

• Coordinate the admission of new residents, completing comprehensive assessments and developing person-centred care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Lead, mentor, and support the care team to deliver safe, high-quality clinical care and positive resident outcomes.
• Provide hands‑on nursing care, including medication administration, wound management, and ongoing clinical monitoring.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, oversee infection control practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and audits.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external healthcare providers while driving quality improvement initiatives.

About You

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

• Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience in residential aged care, with experience in a similar clinical care role highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary care teams.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and evidence-based practice skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient computer and information management skills, including Microsoft applications and clinical software systems.
• Sound understanding of the aged care accreditation process and ability to meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.
