Job summary

Tradewind Australia Pty seeks an experienced Clinical Aged Care Needs Assessor for a 3-month locum contract in Victoria. The role offers work-from-home flexibility with remote documentation, while conducting approximately two face-to-face assessments per day across Casey, Cardinia, Mornington Peninsula and Frankston regions.

Requirements include current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional, mandatory Comprehensive Clinical Assessor status under My Aged Care SAS,

Qualifications

• Must hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional.
• Mandatory: fully signed off as a Comprehensive Clinical Assessor under the My Aged Care Single Assessment System.
• Completed all required My Aged Care and Department of Health training for clinical assessors.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 2 face-to-face assessments per day.
• Complete documentation, care planning and follow-up remotely.
• Travel throughout the designated South-Eastern Melbourne catchment.

We are currently recruiting for an established Aged Care Assessment Service seeking an experienced Clinical Aged Care Needs Assessor for a 3-month locum contract with potential to extend.

Key Criteria - You Must Have

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional
• Previous experience as an Aged Care Assessor
• MANDATORY: Fully signed off as a Comprehensive Clinical Assessor under the My Aged Care Single Assessment System
• Completed all required My Aged Care and Department of Health training for clinical assessors
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Experience working with older people across aged care, community, rehabilitation or acute settings
• Ability to travel throughout the designated South-Eastern Melbourne catchment
