Job summary

TRAV’S TREE SERVICES is seeking a qualified arborist for day-to-day climbing tasks within Melbourne's metropolitan area. The role involves work on diverse projects from fine dead wooding to large-scale removals, with opportunities to operate equipment like Avant loaders, spider lifts and cranes.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum 3 years of industry experience, Australian Cert 3 in Horticulture/Arboriculture, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to obtain an MR license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of extensive industry experience.
• Australian Cert 3 in Horticulture/Arboriculture or equivalent.
• Driver's license and willingness to obtain a medium rigid (MR) license.
• Willingness to obtain Working with children’s check, First aid certification and Construction white card.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day climbing tasks including fine dead wooding, weight reduction, and large-scale removals.
• Work with EWP, loaders, cranes and learn quoting and other skills.
