Job summary

Active Tree Services in Victoria is hiring a Climbing Arborist to safely trim or dismantle trees using climbing techniques and safe work practices. You will rotate through duties such as climbing, establishing drop zones, operating an Elevated Work Platform, using a chainsaw, and clearing debris.

The role offers an hourly rate of $40-50 depending on experience plus superannuation and Fortnightly RDO, along with travel allowances, overtime, and a fully maintained company vehicle.

Climbing Arborist:

The key reasonability of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective safe trimming or dismantling of trees through safe climbing techniques and safe work practices. You will rotate throughout the day between duties such as:

• Performing safe and competent climbing techniques
• Establishing and implementing vegetation drop zones
• Operating an Elevated Work Platform
• Safely operating plant and chainsaw equipment
• Clearing vegetation debris from worksites

• Ongoing training and development opportunities (Elevated Work Platform License, Chainsaw ticket, Chipper ticket, Traffic control and First aid)
