Job summary

Griffith University is seeking a Training Manager for the ARC Training Centre for Climate-Resilient Water. This role leads development, delivery and ongoing improvement of the Centre’s Training and Capacity Development Program, translating strategy and funding commitments into impactful training initiatives for industry professionals, researchers and HDR candidates.

Based at Brisbane South (Nathan) campus, the role requires strong program management, stakeholder engagement and budget oversight

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification and significant relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional expertise.
• Demonstrated experience leading the design, delivery and evaluation of complex training, professional development or capacity-building programs.
• Proven ability to translate strategic priorities and stakeholder requirements into practical plans and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of the Centre’s Training and Capacity Development Program.
• Oversee program planning, stakeholder engagement, budget management, quality assurance, monitoring and reporting.
• Drive collaboration, industry partnerships and professional development opportunities for industry professionals, researchers and HDR candidates.
• Work with Griffith University, UQ and consortium partners to deliver the Centre’s strategic objectives.
