Alignerr is seeking Climate Data Specialists to shape how AI reasons about climate and the natural world. This is a remote, hourly contract for researchers with advanced degrees, offering flexible hours and full training support.

• Hold a Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Ecology, or a closely related field.
• Proficient in Python or R for research, modeling or data analysis.
• Deep subject matter expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or environmental systems.
• Exceptionally clear written communicator with a sharp eye for accuracy and detail.
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment.
• Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand.

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in environmental policy, geospatial analysis, or computational modeling
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation as an end user
