Job summary

Forefront Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major client-side team on a flagship data centre project in Melbourne's western suburbs. You will manage civil, structural, in-ground services or base-build packages on a large-scale site.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will monitor programme, quality and delivery, coordinate design interfaces with executives, head contractors and consultants, and identify risks before they impact the schedule.

Qualifications

• Large-scale project experience essential on major projects.
• Independently managed civil, structural, in-ground services or base-build packages.
• Strong coordination with design teams, contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Review construction methodology and short-term look-aheads.
• Coordinate design interfaces and trade packages.
• Monitor inspections, quality documentation and risk mitigation.
• Track RFIs, hold points, defects and closeout information to keep delivery on track.
