Job summary

Forefront Recruitment is partnering with a Melbourne-based data centre operations client to recruit a Field Engineer transitioning from hands-on electrical work into a client-side technical role.

You'll support reliability and performance of critical electrical systems across live facilities, splitting time between the Melbourne head office and site locations, engaging with contractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• A-Grade Electrical Licence (or equivalent) is essential.
• Experience working with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers and power distribution.
• Capability to perform fault investigations and troubleshooting in live facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee critical electrical infrastructure across data centre facilities.
• Conduct fault investigations, commissioning activities and procedure reviews.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to ensure safe and reliable operation.
