Job description

Client Services Officer - with pathway to Financial Adviser

Remote | Full-time

We’re Sufficient Funds – recently crowned Australia’s Employer of the Year (Women in Finance) – and we’re not your average financial planning firm. We’re proudly values-first, jargon-free, and genuinely obsessed with delivering real outcomes for young Australians.

Think 100% virtual, long before it was cool. Think deep impact without the corporate fluff.

We’re growing fast and looking for a switched-on Client Services Officer who’s ready to support life-changing advice while gearing up for their own Professional Year (ideally within the next 12–24 months).

About the Role
  • Support onboarding, advice prep, and implementation for our growing client base
  • Chat confidently with clients and providers - especially across insurance, super, and investments
  • Collaborate with advisers, associates, paraplanners, and the broader SF team
  • Be a key part of our talent incubator: we want to grow you into an SF Adviser
  • Bonus points if you get excited by process improvement and better ways of working
  • Enjoy a competitive salary, remote culture, and plenty of support
What You’ll Need to Bring
  • 2–3 years in a client services or advice support role (or close to it)
  • Approved financial planning degree (or in the final stages)
  • Desire to kick off your Professional Year within 12–24 months
  • Excellent communication skills – especially over the phone
  • Strong attention to detail and initiative to spot what others miss
  • Comfortable with compliance and keeping things squeaky clean
  • Proven ability to manage your time, work remotely, and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative spirit, a learning mindset, and a whole lot of heart

💌 Sound like you? Slide into our inbox with your CV and a cover letter (this is a must!) that tells us who you are and why this role has your name written all over it.

Company highlights

We’ve cracked the code on advice that actually matters to young Australians. No jargon, just smart, meaningful strategies that start with what matters most in life. Our clients aren’t spreadsheets - they’re people with goals, dogs, babies and Bali trips on their vision boards AND we’re growing fast (75%+ YoY kind of fast).

You’ll join a switched-on, values-aligned team of emotionally intelligent humans doing the best work of their careers, from wherever they call home. We’re sunscreen-scented, results-obsessed, and totally committed to the long game. We grow together, laugh a lot, and deliver next-level advice that genuinely changes lives. We’ll back your growth, challenge your thinking, and create space for you to become an adviser with real impact.
