Job summary

Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter is seeking a Client Services Coordinator to join our accounting team. The role supports daily operations, client data accuracy, and ATO communications to ensure timely, high-quality service for our clients.

You will work with APS, NowInfinity, Xero Tax and other platforms, providing reception coverage and helping improve administrative processes while upholding confidentiality and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a similar administrative, client service, or accounting support role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain and update client information across platforms (APS, NowInfinity, Xero Tax, Tax Agent Portal, ABR, Annature).
• Ability to adapt to change and work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for client enquiries via phone, email, and in person (including reception coverage).
• Maintain and update client information across platforms including APS, NowInfinity, Xero Tax, Tax Agent Portal, ABR and Annature
• Undertake recurring database maintenance
• Monitor lodgement due dates and keep the team informed
• Manage job workflow: collate year-end packages and quarterly BAS/IAS for signature, draft bills for approval, update lodgement status, assist with corporate compliance and complete ad hoc tasks
• Work collaboratively with team members to support operational efficiency
• Identify opportunities to improve client service and administrative processes
• Assist with reporting, data tracking, and quality assurance
• Send ATO correspondence through ATOMate
• Contribute to the firm’s front-of-house operations.
