Job summary

Ozcare Hervey Bay is seeking a Client Services Assistant for our aged care facility. You will support clients with daily needs, meals and cleaning, in a compassionate, team‑driven environment.

The role requires a friendly, flexible attitude, ability to work varied rosters, and basic experience in cleaning or kitchen tasks. Training and uniform provided to all successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
• Experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable.
• Experience assisting frail aged persons is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of meals by performing tasks allocated by the Cook.
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals, or when required.
• Perform tasks associated with the provision of laundry services.
• Perform tasks associated with cleaning of the Facility with emphasis on WH&S areas such as toilets and floors.

Ozcare has a casual position available for a Client Services Assistant who will be supporting our clients at our beautiful Hervey Bay Aged Care Facility.

Your Role

As a Client Services Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Assist with the preparation of meals by performing tasks allocated by the Cook
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals, or when required
• Perform tasks associated with the provision of laundry services
• Perform tasks associated with cleaning of the Facility with particular emphasis on areas where Workplace Health & Safety matters often arise toilets, floors etc.

Role Requirements

• Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
• Current Police Screening Certificate (valid within the last 3 years)
• Demonstrated experience in domestic or commercial cleaning
• Demonstrated experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable
• Previous experience in assisting frail aged persons
