Client Services & Administration Officer
Part-time | 2 fixed days per week | Warilla, NSW
$65,000–$75,000 p.a. full-time equivalent, pro rata
You’re an experienced administrator. You know how to keep things organised, communicate well with clients, follow things up and make sure the details are taken care of.
You may just not want to do it five days a week.
We’re looking for someone who wants two consistent days of work each week, with competitive pay, clear responsibilities and the autonomy that comes with being trusted to do your job well.
You don’t need experience in building or certification. We’ll teach you our systems and processes and support you while you learn the role.
South Coast Certifiers helps homeowners, builders and building professionals navigate the building certification and approval process.
Your role is to keep the administrative side of that process organised, followed up and moving.
You’ll answer incoming calls and respond promptly to voicemail messages and emails. We pride ourselves on great communication, so an important part of your role is making sure our clients feel informed and know where things are up to.
You’ll also keep on top of outstanding invoices, quotes and variations, and manage our variation process from start to finish.
There are important behind-the-scenes tasks too, including referencing documents and keeping administration in order.
We’re looking for someone who gets satisfaction from knowing what’s outstanding, following it up and getting it sorted.
Building or certification experience isn’t required. Strong administrative experience is.
You’ll probably suit this role if you:
That last point matters to us. We’re a small team and we need someone we can depend on.
We don’t expect you to know everything straight away, and we’d much rather you ask a question than guess. Certification work can’t be guesswork. Once you’re trained and proficient, we’ll trust you to take ownership of your responsibilities without needing repeated reminders.
You’ll work alongside our Office Manager while you learn, with documented processes to follow and someone nearby when you have questions.
We’ll give you the support to learn the role properly, then the autonomy to get on with it as your confidence and proficiency grow.
We’re serious about the service we provide, and getting the details right matters.
This is an on-site role at our Warilla office, working two consistent days per week.
Our preference is Wednesday and Friday, although there may be some flexibility in agreeing the two days initially. Once agreed, we need those days to be consistent.
You’ll have your own workspace and plenty of free parking.
Salary: $65,000–$75,000 p.a. full-time equivalent, paid pro rata for your agreed hours.
