A leading recruitment firm in Australia is seeking a Client Relationship Consultant to join their Perth Trades team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building relationships and managing a portfolio of Trades clients while delivering tailored recruitment solutions. This full-time role involves both business development and hands-on recruitment, requiring at least 2 years of experience in account management or recruitment. Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience managing major accounts.
• Experience in recruitment or sales is desirable.
• Strong ability to present confidently at senior levels.
• Recruitment or sales experience in Trades is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a portfolio of Trades clients.
• Identify new business opportunities.
• Conduct service reviews for client satisfaction.
• Maintain long-standing relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct service reviews and work proactively to enhance client satisfaction.
• Take detailed job briefs and create effective recruitment strategies.
• Conduct behavioural interviews and reference checks.
• Manage candidate pools, job orders, and ATS updates (FastTrack).
• Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, and timely.
• Deliver candidates who truly match client needs.
• Submit weekly reports and planning documents.
• Adhere to WHS, legislative requirements, and corporate policies.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of Trades clients while delivering high‑quality, end‑to‑end recruitment solutions. This is a 360‑consultant position, ideal for someone who enjoys mixing business development, client relationship building, and hands‑on recruitment work.

You will build strong relationships, dig deep to understand workforce needs, and proudly represent Drake in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Business Development & Client Management

• Identify new business opportunities through market insight and networking
• Meet with decision‑makers and influencers to understand their workforce needs
• Present Drake's solutions with confidence and professionalism
• Maintain long‑standing relationships with existing clients
• Conduct service reviews and work proactively to enhance client satisfaction

Recruitment & Candidate Management

• Take detailed job briefs and create effective recruitment strategies
• Conduct behavioural interviews and reference checks
• Manage candidate pools, job orders, and ATS updates (FastTrack)
• Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, and timely
• Deliver candidates who truly match client needs

Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain detailed client history files
• Submit weekly reports and planning documents
• Adhere to WHS, legislative requirements, and corporate policies

What You'll Bring

• At least 2 years' experience managing major accounts
• Strong relationship‑building skills and professional communication
• Drive to meet targets and exceed expectations
• Experience in recruitment or sales (Trades recruitment experience ideal but not required)
