Aquent is seeking a Client Partner to join our Sydney team on a major long-term project. This hybrid role balances client relationships, project management, production and stakeholder coordination from Sydney, with 2 days onsite at Homebush West and the remainder remote.
You will drive briefs, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure the team delivers high-quality output for a senior client. Collaboration with the local and broader consultancy network is essential to success.
Our client is a growing strategy and creative consultancy that works with organisations on some interesting business, brand and communications challenges.
They’re deliberately different from a traditional agency. The team works closely with clients at a senior level, combining strategy, creative, communications and practical delivery to help clients navigate complex projects and bring ideas to life.
The business has grown quickly over the past couple of years and is now building out its Sydney presence. The team is small, experienced and genuinely collaborative, with senior people based across Sydney and Melbourne.
They’re now looking for a Client Partner to become an important part of the Sydney team and work closely with one of their major clients on a very important long-term project.
This isn’t a traditional account management role. It’s a mix of client relationships, project management, production, stakeholder management and getting stuck in.
Around 70% of your time will be dedicated to one major client, where you’ll become a familiar face within their business and work across a large and diverse stakeholder group.
The role is based in Sydney, with 2 days per week onsite at the client’s office in Homebush West. The remaining days are generally worked from home, with some flexibility depending on client and project needs.
You’ll be the person who keeps the moving parts moving, makes sure everyone knows what’s happening and helps turn ideas and requests into clear, well-managed projects.
You might come from an agency account management, client services, project management, production, studio management, communications or events background.
What matters most is how you work.
Someone with 3-5+ years in a fast-paced agency or similar environment could be a great fit if they have the right attitude, organisation and people skills.
Most importantly, you need to be personable. This is a very relationship-driven role, and the ability to build trust with people at all levels will be a big part of your success.
Candidates must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency to be considered. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
If you’re someone who likes people, loves being organised and gets a strange amount of satisfaction from making complicated things feel simple, we’d love to hear from you.
