Job description

Client Development Manager (Parental Leave Cover)

Based in Melbourne, reporting to the Regional Manager – Client Development VIC/TAS. This role involves driving new business growth by servicing and growing adviser distribution.

Responsibilities
  • Support a panel of advisers, assisting them to grow their businesses in a manner mutually beneficial to AIA.
  • Build and develop relationships with advisers and their support staff.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with local dealer group management.
  • Meet yearly production and retention targets.
  • Follow the Client Development Management model within your state.
  • Provide product education and client development support to advisers and support staff.
  • Raise the profile of AIA at PD days, conferences and industry events.
  • Work closely with Client Development Associates to help growth and their development.
  • Provide guidance and direction to your aligned Client Development Support person to help them in their roles and your aligned panel.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar position within life insurance or financial services.
  • RG146 compliant.
  • Successful completion of a Diploma of Financial Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional client service.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
