Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is recruiting for an Advice Associate to provide administrative and implementation support to Financial Planners across our Australian operations. You will assist with meeting preparation, documentation, and timely implementation of both personal and general advice to customers.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Financial Services (RG146) or equivalent experience in Financial Planning/Advice is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in a busy customer service / client facing role.
  • Ability to prioritise work commitments and meet deadlines to support effective advice and customer outcomes.
  • Experience in managing a high-volume workload.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with good rapport-building.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Planners in delivering financial advice to customers.
  • Assist in preparation for customer meetings and presentations, research, documentation, and record management.
  • Implement advice to customers, including personal and general advice in a timely manner.
  • Support Annual Service Agreement obligations to meet customer milestones and service commitments.
  • Collaborate with different parts of the business to support initiatives and maintain an efficient team.
  • Continuously build knowledge of the Advice industry, regulatory changes, and complete mandatory training.

The Opportunity

The Opportunity We have new opportunities available for Advice Associates to join our Financial Wellbeing business in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney. Within this position you will be working closely with, and support, our Financial Planners to provide comprehensive administrative and implementation support, as well as providing a highly personable and professional experience to our customers. To do this successfully you will:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Planners in their delivery of Financial Advice to our customers, particularly in relation to advice implementation Assist in preparation for customer meetings/presentations, support research, managing documentation, record management and implementation of advice to customers Implement both personal and general advice in a timely manner Support the delivery of Annual Service Agreement obligations to ensure customer milestones and service commitments are met Collaborate with different parts of the business to support business initiatives and support an efficient, well-functioning team Continuously build your knowledge of the Advice industry, legislative changes, attend professional development and compliance training sessions and complete all mandatory learning within the required timeframes

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • A Diploma of Financial Services, Financial Planning (RG146 compliance) or previous experience working in a Financial Planning / Advice business
  • A proven track record of experience in a busy customer service / client facing role
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise work commitments and meet deadlines to support effective advice and customer outcomes
  • Experience in managing a high-volume workload
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Well-developed rapport building and customer engagement skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Sound risk management thinking and practices
  • The ability to role model AIA's Operating Philosophy of "Doing the Right thing, in the Right Way, with the Right people" as the incumbent will be measured against this regularly
