Job summary

MAISON ESSENTIELE is seeking a warm, style-minded Client Advisor to join our Darlinghurst Showroom on a casual basis. You’ll be the face of the brand in store, welcoming clients, styling across the collection and building lasting relationships that bring them back season after season.

You’ll help keep the showroom running smoothly, share client insights with the team, and contribute to achieving sales targets while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, ideally in premium fashion, luxury or lifestyle
• Strong eye for detail and presentation
• Reliable and flexible, with availability across weekdays, weekends, and key trading periods
• Team player with clear communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and deliver a personalised in-store experience
• Style and advise clients on fit, fabrication and the MAISON ESSENTIELE range
• Contribute to weekly and monthly showroom sales targets
• Build lasting relationships with new and returning clients, capturing details in client records
• Follow up after purchases with thoughtful check-ins, previews and invitations

MAISON ESSENTIELE is an independent Australian brand known for considered design, a thoughtful approach to fit and elevated everyday essentials. We’re looking for a warm, style-minded Client Advisor to join our team on a casual basis at our Darlinghurst Showroom & Concept Store.

In this client-facing role, you’ll be the face of MAISON ESSENTIELE in store. You’ll welcome clients, style and advise them across the collection, and build lasting relationships that bring them back season after season. You’ll also help keep the showroom running smoothly day to day and share client insights with the team to help shape future collections.

This role suits someone with a background in premium or luxury retail who loves fashion and enjoys connecting with people.

Client experiences and sales

• Welcome every client warmly and deliver a personalised, MAISON ESSENTIELE in-store experience
• Style and advise clients on fit, fabrication and the MAISON ESSENTIELE range
• Contribute to weekly and monthly showroom sales targets
• Build lasting relationships with new and returning clients, capturing details and preferences in our client records
• Follow up after purchases with thoughtful check-ins, new-arrival previews and appointment invitations

Store operations

• Maintaining an inviting store environment, adhering to visual merchandising standards and brand guidelines.
• Assist with receiving stock, replenishment, stocktakes and opening and closing procedures
• Share client feedback on fit, product and demand with the team to inform buying and design

About you

• At least 1 year of retail experience, ideally in premium fashion, luxury or lifestyle
• An individual committed to providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.
• A strong eye for detail and presentation, and a real interest in fashion, fabric and fit
• A results-oriented individual with a passion for exceeding targets.
• Reliable and flexible, with availability across weekdays, weekends and key trading periods
• Strong team work skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player who takes ownership and communicates clearly
