Job summary

The Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney invites applications for a Clergy Health and Wellbeing Officer based in Leichhardt, Sydney. The role focuses on supporting the health and wellbeing of priests across ministry, with confidential assessments and tailored care.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Office for Clergy, you will coordinate access to health services, maintain records with privacy in mind, and work with internal teams and external providers to build a caring support network.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting health, wellbeing or care needs of others.
• Ability to engage in sensitive conversations with discretion and respect.
• Strong record-keeping and privacy/compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wellbeing assessments for clergy and provide person-centered support.
• Travel within the Archdiocese to engage clergy and coordinate care.
• Develop tailored care approaches and coordinate access to services.
• Collaborate with internal teams, Church leaders and external providers.
