ASX Limited is seeking an Officer, Clearing Operations on a 12 Month Max Term Contract in Sydney. The role supports daily clearing, settlement, margin and collateral processes across multiple platforms.

You will work hybrid from the Sydney office, performing tasks withCalypso/Genium/Austraclear knowledge and contribute to operational risk controls while engaging diverse market participants and regulators.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in clearing, settlement, treasury operations or related fields.
• Understanding of margining frameworks and cash settlement.
• Knowledge of exchange-traded and cleared OTC derivatives lifecycles.
• Ability to streamline processes and reduce operational risk.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Understand and operate clearing systems: Calypso, Genium, DCS/MCM, Austraclear, Markitwire.
• Process full lifecycle of exchange-traded and OTC derivatives from listing to expiry.
• Perform clearing tasks following procedures and checklists.
• Support treasury in settling deals and engaging counterparties.
• Identify improvements to reduce risk and improve customer experience.
• Review corporate actions adjustments on ETO products.
• Engage stakeholders including participants, counterparties and regulators.
• Handle queries in line with ASX communication principles.
