Job summary

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a Business Support Associate to join our Equity Operations team on a 12-month contract in Sydney. You will support trading, settlements, reconciliations, and reporting during the transition to an external service provider.

Success requires 2–3 years in financial services operations, strong communication, high attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with offshore colleagues across time zones using standard office and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in financial services operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• Proactive, adaptable mindset with solid problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with offshore colleagues across time zones.
• Proficiency with common office technology and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with external service providers to support operational tasks and data extracts.
• Deliver accurate business and management reporting, along with essential administrative support.
• Assist trading, settlements, and reconciliation teams with daily workflow.
• Provide flexible support across multiple functions during the transition period.
• Track and resolve queries, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Build effective relationships with internal teams, global colleagues, and external providers.
• Follow compliance and audit processes, escalating risks as required.
