Job summary

Assetlink is hiring a part-time cleaner for our Traralgon Centre Plaza site with a night shift pattern. The roster covers Monday, Thursday and Friday 8pm–12am and Tuesday/Wednesday 6pm–12am.

The role suits someone with commercial or retail cleaning experience who values a safe, supportive team environment. The position is paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020, with ongoing training and a family‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or retail cleaning and on-the-job training is provided.
• Be well-presented, proactive and able to work independently.
• Understanding of chemical handling and safe cleaning techniques.
• Experience with cleaning machinery (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper) is preferred.
• Good knowledge of safe working practices and ability to walk for long periods.
• Able to communicate in verbal and written English and follow instructions.
• Must have valid work rights in Australia and be flexible for hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties at the Traralgon Centre Plaza site as scheduled.
• Operate cleaning machinery and apply safe cleaning techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow procedures.

The Role:

We have a Part Time cleaning position at our Traralgon Centre Plaza site. The roster for this position is Monday, Thursday and Friday 8pm-12am, Tuesday and Wednesday 6pm-12am

Role Requirements:

• Be well-presented, proactive and able to work well on your own
• Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience preferred (on-the-job training will be provided)
• An understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques (or willingness to learn)
• Cleaning Machinery experience (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper) preferred
• Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices
• Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and ability to walk for lengthy periods
• Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Be able to communicate in verbal and written English
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
• Must have valid work rights in Australia
