Job summary

ACS Property Services is seeking reliable Commercial Cleaners to join our team and provide high-quality cleaning services across major schools. Two positions available in Lara and Corio, Victoria. Casual / Part-time roles with shifts Mon-Fri, afternoons.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have the ability to work autonomously and use initiative.
• Experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous.
• Strong customer service focus and attention to cleanliness.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties.
• Right to work in Australia and eligibility to obtain required police checks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and related areas.
• Waste, rubbish, and recycling removal.
• Vacuuming and washing floors, including edges and corners.
• Dusting and spot cleaning walls and surfaces.
• Replace and replenish supplies such as toilet paper and soap.
• Monitor stock levels and report needs to the Manager.

About the role

We are seeking dedicated, reliable, and hardworking Commercial Cleaners to join our team and provide high-quality cleaning services across major schools.

Classification: Casual / Part-time

Rate: As per Cleaning Services Award

Shifts: x1 Mon - Fri, 3:30pm - 6pm

Location: Lara

Shifts: x1 Mon - Fri, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Location: Corio

What you'll be doing

• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchens, including toilets, urinals, dispensers, sinks, mirrors
• Waste, rubbish, recycling removal
• Vacuum and wash floors, paying particular attention to corners and edges
• Dust areas within cleaning scope
• Replace and replenish publicly provided supplies, eg. toilet paper, liquid hand soap, bin liners
• Spot clean walls and other areas as required and remove cobwebs or other unsightly items
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate with Manager as needed
• Machine scrubbing experience would be ideal

What you'll bring

• The right to work in Australia, and willing to obtain current national police check and employer working with children's check
• Previous commercial cleaning knowledge and experience would be advantageous
• Ability to work autonomously, use initiative, and manage tasks effectively
• High level of customer service skills with a friendly demeanour, attention to detail, and passion for cleanliness
• Have an acceptable level of physical and mental fitness
