Job summary

CityFM Australia is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead and oversee cleaning staff at the Coles Distribution Centre in Redbank. You will manage shifts, drive service quality, and build strong relationships with the partner team, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met on site.

Ideal candidates will have experience supervising cleaning crews, roster management, and a solid understanding of food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cleaning teams, roster management in food service or commercial supply chain.
• Current driver’s licence (desirable).
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficient with IT tools, esp. MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Ability to work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Cleaning Team on shift.
• Induction and training of new team members.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards across the DC.
• Ensure correct use of chemicals, equipment and machinery.
• Foster a positive team environment and relationships.
• Coordinate schedules to meet quality standards and deadlines.

The Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for effectivelymanaging and leading a team to successfully deliver cleaning services at Coles – Distribution Centre Redbank.

Work closely with your team to build strong relationships with our partner and provide exceptional service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Undertake the general direction and supervision of the Cleaning Team members on shift.
• Participating in induction and training of new Team Members.
• Oversee the maintenance of food safety and hygiene standards across all areas of the DC, while adhering to all Health and Safety procedures
• Ensure the correct use of chemicals, equipment and machinery by all team members
• Develop strong working relationships and a positive team environment.
• Work with team members to ensure work schedules are completed to quality standards, within required time frames.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Previous experience supervising cleaning team members, including roster management. Ideally in the food service industry or commercial supply chain environment.
• Current driver’s licence and vehicle (desirable)
• Build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Intermediate to advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
