Job summary

City FM Australia is hiring a dedicated Cleaning Crew member based at Mount Pleasant, QLD. You’ll perform daily cleaning at your site and support a small team across nearby centres, providing troubleshooting, training during site visits, and reporting to the Cleaning Operations Supervisor.

We offer reliable hours Monday to Friday 7pm–9pm with flexible coverage up to 11pm for training or emergencies. You’ll receive uniform and PPE and access exclusive retail discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a small team.
• Willingness to troubleshoot cleaning equipment (advantageous).
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cleaning services on time and to scope.
• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces; disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery; perform physical tasks.
• Supervise and train team members through site visits and hands-on support.
• Act as first contact for on-site queries and elevate urgent issues.
• Manage equipment and supplies, reporting faults and maintaining stock.

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience

• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a small team
• Confidence in troubleshooting cleaning equipment (advantageous)

• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver’s licence and reliable car (essential)
• Willing to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
