Job summary

OCS Services Australia is seeking a Trades & Services Cleaner for Melbourne on a permanent full‑time basis. Responsibilities include routine cleaning in commercial kitchens, warewashing, and maintaining hygiene across production areas.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience in commercial areas.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as high‑pressure washers, floor buffers and polishers is advantageous.
• Knowledge of chemical use and PPE.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of OHS practices.
• Well‑presented and able to follow safety instructions.
• Must be able to pass an Australian National Police Clearance.
• Demonstrate Working Rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Daily duties include washing used pots, pans and utensils for production kitchens.
• Separate pot wash area for Halal vs non‑Halal production.
• Detail cleaning of commercial areas including cold rooms, benches, walls, floors and ceilings.
• Apply colour coding to prevent cross‑contamination.
• High pressure washing of kitchen equipment.

Positions Available,

• Full-time - Monday to Friday (11pm to 7am)
• Full-time - Monday to Friday (3pm to 11pm)
• Full-time - Monday to Friday (7am to 3pm)

Daily duties will include but not be limited to

• Manual handling and washing of used pots, pans and associated cooking utensils so they can be used by chefs in production kitchens.
• One area dedicated to pots and pans used in Halal food production a separate pot wash used for soiled non-Halal production.
• Detail Cleaning of commercial areas including cold rooms, bench tops, walls, floors and ceilings.
• Using colour coding practices and systems to ensure no cross contamination.
• High pressure washing of kitchen equipment

Applicants must have

• Cleaning Experience in commercial areas
