Job summary

OCS Services Australia is seeking reliable cleaners for part-time roles in Melbourne. You will be responsible for cleaning offices, common areas, and facilities across multiple sites, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and supporting a range of environments including commercial and government premises.

Positions offer flexible shifts with opportunities for progression within a long-standing, respected facilities services partner.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning across diverse environments.
• Knowledge of chemical products and PPE usage.
• Understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
• Able to present well and follow safety instructions.
• Must have working rights in Australia.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain rooms, equipment, and surfaces according to procedures.
• Clean surfaces, touchpoints, floors, benches, and high-use areas.
• Use approved cleaning methods and disinfectants as per site standards.
• Perform post-maintenance cleaning to return spaces to operation.
• Cover offices, amenities, corridors, reception, lunch areas, loading docks, and outdoor pathways.
• Carry out general tasks: vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning bins, vents, and toilets.
• Sanitise bathrooms, offices, and kitchen areas.

Positions Available,

2X Part-time positions: *********-Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

Key Requirements:

• Clean and maintain rooms, equipment, surfaces while following approved procedures.
• Clean surfaces and touchpoints including floors, benches, equipment exteriors, and high‑use areas.
• Use approved cleaning methods and disinfectants in line with site standards.
• Perform post‑maintenance and downgraded area cleaning to return spaces to operational use.
• Clean areas such as offices, amenities, corridors, reception, lunch areas, loading docks, and outdoor pathways.
• Complete general tasks including vacuuming, wiping benches and chairs, cleaning bins, air vents, and toilets.
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, offices, and kitchen areas

Applicants must have,

• Cleaning Experience in various aspects of cleaning
• Knowledge of chemical use and PPE
• Understanding of OHS practices
• Well-presented and ability to follow safety instructions
• Must be able to pass an Australian National Police Clearance
• Demonstrate Working Rights in Australia
• Good communication skills and work cooperatively with other cleaners and site staff.
