Job summary

Compass Group is seeking a Cleaning & Accommodation Manager to lead accommodation and cleaning services at Lone Pine Barracks, Singleton NSW. This is a Full Time role reporting to a Defence environment, with a stable workforce and supervision in place.

You will drive service delivery, safety, and continuous improvement while managing budgets and relationships with Defence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in accommodation, housekeeping, cleaning, facilities management or other service-based operations.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and performance management skills.
• Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Focus on customer service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Sound understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accommodation and cleaning services to ensure consistent operational excellence.
• Lead and develop a well-established team supported by leading hands and an Accommodation Supervisor.
• Ensure accommodation services are delivered to agreed standards and client expectations.
• Coordinate staff rosters and labour requirements to meet operational demands.
• Manage stock, purchasing and inventory processes.
• Monitor operational budgets and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Defence stakeholders.
• Drive a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene requirements.
• Prepare operational and performance reports.
• Monitor service delivery against key performance indicators and contractual requirements.

Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for developing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional service outcomes and building strong client relationships?

Compass Group is seeking a Cleaning & Accommodation Manager to lead accommodation and cleaning services at Lone Pine Barracks, Singleton.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a well-established operation supported by experienced supervisors, leading hands and a stable workforce. Combining people leadership, operational management and stakeholder engagement, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional service delivery, compliance and customer satisfaction across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accommodation and cleaning services to ensure consistent operational excellence

About You

You will bring:

• Strong people leadership, coaching and performance management skills
• Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A focus on customer service excellence and continuous improvement
• Sound understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements relevant to accommodation and cleaning operations
• Experience managing budgets, resources and workforce planning
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including reporting and data analysis
• Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance, including a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check

Desirable

• Experience working within Defence, government or other highly regulated environments
• Experience managing service contracts and performance against KPIs
