Job summary

Downer is seeking Part Time School Cleaners to support Halinda School in NSW. Roles are Monday to Friday, 3pm–6pm, reporting to the Client Service Manager, and are designed to maintain a high standard of cleaning across school facilities.

You'll be responsible for cleaning offices, classrooms, and outdoor areas, with a focus on hygienic environments that support learning activities. Applicants should have cleaning experience, reliable transport, and a valid WWCC/Police check process will be

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial environment.
• Able to perform consistently to a high standard.
• Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police History Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and common areas within Halinda School.
• Clean classrooms and outdoor areas, manage waste.
• Support learning activities by maintaining hygienic facilities.

We currently have opportunities for Part Time School Cleaners. Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in maintaining a high standard of cleaning services throughout our school facilities. Our cleaners hold an important role within the school community by providing a clean and hygienic school to support the learning activities throughout. Reporting to the Client Service Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

Halinda School - Monday to Friday 3pm-6pm

What You'll Do (key responsibilities)

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Cleaning offices and common areas
• Classroom cleaning
• Garbage removal and outdoor area cleaning

What You'll Bring (experience required)

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial environment.
• Able to perform consistently to a high standard.
• A strong communicator and work collaboratively.
• Own transportation and Drivers Licence required
